Pipe Dream Polish Caribbean Dreaming and Bijou Baccate

**press sample**

Good morning everyone! I want to start with a warning/apology/complaint. This morning I broke my middle nail on my swatch hand and now I have a split on it too. That's my favorite macro finger! So far it looks pretty okay, but if you see some weird dryness or redness that's why. Time to start doubling up on my Sweet Baby cuticle products!!! ASAP!

Today I have 2 more polishes from the upcoming Glitterandom Collection from Pipe Dream Polish. This collection releases this Friday, January 3rd, at noon EST. Set your alarms!

Today's polishes are Caribbean Dreaming and Bijou Baccate. Details and pics after the jump!

First up, Caribbean Dreaming.

For this mani I started with 2 coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls on my pointer, middle, and ring finger then 1 coat of OPI Black Onyx on my ring finger. Then I put 2 coats of OPI This Gown Needs a Crown on my thumb because I love seeing these glitters over silver. I then added 2 thin coats of Caribbean Dreaming over all of the nails and topped them all off with Just Ricarda Glossy Glam.

Caribbean Dreaming is a clear base glitter bomb packed with various shades of blues, greens, and holos. I think I see some iridescence peeking through there too, and definitely holo dust, my fave! I don't think April could have come up with a better name for this one, it reminds me of beaches and mermaids. As always the glitter is rich and densely mixed, but not too dense. It flowed beautifully and no placement was required at all. Just easy, sparkly goodness.

Next up is Bijou Baccate.

For this mani I started with 2 coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls on my pointer and middle finger and 2 coats of OPI This Gown Needs a Crown on my ring finger and pinkie. Then I added 1 coat of OPI Black Onyx to my thumb because I wanted to see it over black. Black, white, and silver are my favorites to layer these glitter toppers over, especially for swatching. I feel like it shows you the glitter better. Hopefully you're not all tired of the combo.

According to April, Bijou Baccate loosely translates to jeweled berries, and that suits this polish perfectly. It is a clear base with various shades of pinks, purples, and holo glitters jam packed in there. There's also a bit of holo dust to give it a great sparkle impact.

The formula on this one was flawless. It flowed nicely onto the nail, no placement was needed. The coverage was dense but not so dense that you couldn't see all of the glitter and the color below it.

Both of these polishes will be available for purchase in April's Etsy store here, this Friday at noon EST.

Glossy Glam is available for purchase in their Etsy store here
