Twinsie Tuesday: Favorite Glitter Topper

**press sample**

Good morning friends! How is everyone doing? Hopefully things are going well in your part of the world. Things are good here. We are prepping for me to have a minor surgery on Friday, shouldn't be a big deal... but I'm a planner so of course I've been working on things like laundry and worrying about making sure we have food for the weekend. ;)

AND I've been working on manicures. I got tons of swatching done this weekend, and hopefully I can get some posts queued up for your reading pleasure. Thanks for sticking with me everyone!

So for today's Twinsie Tuesday post we are supposed to showcase our favorite glitter topper. Man was this a challenge. So much of a challenge that I gave up picking one favorite, and opted for a favorite for this season. I'm an indie swatcher, and I love my indies. And some of them make the most amazing glitter toppers. Heather over at Loaded Lacquer is one that has sent me the most I think, and every one of them is amazing. So I opted for a springy/Eastery glitter topper she has called Fluffy Macaroons.

For this mani I added 2 coats of Fluffy Macaroons over 1 coat of OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around and sealed it in with a thick topcoat.

Do you see why I picked this glitter for spring? It's screams Easter to me! I love it so much, but I haven't tried a Loaded Lacquer topper that I didn't love. Even the ones that aren't really my style were great, you should check her out.

Loaded Lacquer polish can be purchased through her website here. Her shop is temporarily closed but should be opening up in another week or two.

What do you all think? This mani got me kind of excited for spring colors, hopefully I can do some spring nail art soon!

Be sure to check out the other Twinsie's blogs linked below to see their favorite glitter toppers too!

Until next time.

Twinsie Tuesday: Tip Nail Art

**press sample**

Good morning everyone! It's Tuesday! Twinsie Tuesday!!!

Today's prompt was Tip Nail Art. At first I thought classic French tips with some art on them... but then I remembered, glitter gradients. I think that counts and tip nail art and it suits me (and my little nubbin nails) much better.

So here is what I came up with! More details and links to the other blogs after the jump!

Loaded Honey Holiday Duo

**press sample**

Hi everyone! Two posts in one night, crazy I know. I will be missing for a few days so I figured I'd bang out a couple of reviews for you all to enjoy.

For this post I have a very special duo of polishes for you. For those of you that have been following me for a while, you know that I recently swatched and reviewed the entire Loaded Lacquer collection here, here, here, here, and here. :) Last week Heather contacted me about teaming up with Nail Honey Custom Lacquer for a holiday duo. I was excited right away! I knew Heather's polishes were amazing, and if she says Nail Honey is good then I want some.

So, on to the pictures.

The Nail Honey Lacquer in this collection is called Sleigh of Steel. This polish is a charcoal gray creme base with a holographic micro shimmer.

Application on this was flawless. It could have been a one coater if I would have been more careful. For this manicure I used 2 coats of Sleigh of Steel and topped it with 1 coat of Glossy Glam. (in the macro pic) I can't wait to wear this again when there is sun outside, hopefully I can catch all of those colors you can see peaking out in here. I see purples and pinks and blues and greens. It really is so deep and pretty. I was very impressed with the depth in this because it's technically a creme. So so so pretty.

The Loaded Lacquer in this collection is called Giddy Up Jingle Horse. This is a clear base glitter bomb packed with large holo glitters, gunmetal, berry, & pink hexes. So much sparkle. The pictures with the glitters are 2 coats of Giddy Up Jingle Horse topped with 1 coat of Glossy Glam. This glitter bomb is just like all of the other Loaded Lacquers I've tried, jam packed with glitter that flows evenly and completely over the nail.

This combo is a really fun take on a holiday look; very sparkly and glitzy but not so holiday themed that you can't wear it any time of the year.

These polishes are limited edition, so head over to Nail Honeys store here or Loaded Lacquers store here to buy yours! The pair is $16, you can't beat that!

I will be back soon hopefully. I have some swatches waiting in the wings to be posted when I'm up to it.

Thanks for reading!
