Pipe Dream Polish All These Diamonds

Good morning polish friends! Look at me, two days in row! :) Life is already starting to feel a bit more normal. Yay!

Today I have a beautiful glitter topper from Pipe Dream Polish called All These Diamonds. 

For this mani I started with 2 coats of OPI Black Onyx on my index and middle fingers and 2 coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls on my ring finger and pinky. Then I added 1 coat (yes ONE coat) of All These Diamonds. I sealed it all in with Just Ricarda's Glossy Glam. 

All These Diamonds is made up of various shapes and sizes of silver holo glitters and holo dust. I like to say that this polish is like China Glaze's Fairy Dust, multiplied, and on steroids. It is absolutely sparkly and amazing. So so pretty. I love that there is dust and also bigger pieces, makes it so much more interesting. But none of the pieces are so big that they take away from your base color. I can't wait to try this as a base for a galaxy manicure, can you imagine!?!?

Pipe Dream Polish Green Light

Good morning everyone! I'm sorry I've been slacking on the posts lately, someday I will get back in a regular schedule of posting. The next month will be a little hectic with the holidays and I am having minor surgery in a couple of weeks. Nothing major, but it will put me out of commission for a few days at least. Can you believe they don't want me to have polish on when I have the surgery?!? Ugh, the nerve. ;) 

Ok so on to the best part of everything... always... polish. Whats better than polish? Pipe Dream Polish. It's no secret that I love April and her polishes, and no she doesn't pay me to say that. I really do love these polishes. And today's is no exception. Plus I've made a very sweet friend in the process, win win for me. 

This my friends is Green Light from her new Lorde Gatsby collection.

Bottle Macro

Green Light is made up of holographic teal and silver glitter in a dark teal green jelly base. That's the official description... but really it's just OMG GREEN HOLO-Y GLITTER BOMB in a bottle. 

This mani is 3 thin coats of Green Lights topped with 1 coat of Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat. 

I just don't even know what to say about this polish, the pictures really say it all. Look at the macro, look at all of the layers. See the glitter all through every single layer? THAT is what I love about Pipe Dream. She's got that down like nobody else does. I love the depth so much, it's like you could swim in it. 

If you don't follow me on Instagram head over there to check out this video I posted of this polish as soon as I put it on. So much sparkle. I am still wearing this one and I really hope the sun comes out today so I can fully enjoy it. Although I think this is one of many Pipe Dream Polishes that should come with a warning, "Do not operate heavy machinery while the sun is shining, sparkle will cause distraction when in direct sunlight." :)

There is a red version of this one that I'm itching to get my hands on. Word on the street is that she is going to be doing some sales this weekend for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but you might not want to wait that long just in case she sells out. Seriously, you have to have this polish in your collection if you are a fan of holo sparkle and green. 

Glisten & Glow HK Girl Fast Drying Topcoat can be purchased here. I have to say that I am really impressed with this one so far. The shine is ridiculous, the dry time is super speedy fast, (and has therefore saved a few manis from my clutziness) and I haven't had any issues with shrinkage or bubbling. Perfect! I think a big refill bottle might have to go on my Christmas list! We are all always trying to find that Holy Grail topcoat. With this I have a couple, never hurts to have more than one... Just in case.

Holo Galaxy Nail Art

Good morning everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a couple of days, I took the weekend off. :) 

Today I have a little nail art for you. Saturday night we went on a double date w/ my sister & her hubby to see City of Bones. Mel & I read the book series together, so we've been pretty excited to see the movies together. She's my favorite reading partner so I always look forward to these things. 

So, I thought I should do a City of Bones inspired mani. I planned to do galaxies with runes on my accent nails, but those runes were much harder to paint than I thought they would be, so I went with all galaxies. It kind of fits I suppose. If you haven't read the books you really should, they're great. And the movie wasn't bad either. :) 

I've had the idea to use holo polishes for galaxy nails for a while, and I'm glad I tried it. The sparkle, whoa... I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

I started with a base of Zoya Storm. It's a lovely black with holo glitter that is really almost like shards than glitter. (I have more pictures and a review of it here.) After that was completely dry I used a sponge to dab a few spots of OPI Black Onyx to black out parts of it, then I used the sponge to dab on the holo polishes to make my galaxies. I used Color Club Halo Hues in Over the Moon, Eternal Beauty, and Miss Bliss. After that I used a little bit of the black, and OPI French Quarter For Your Thoughts to tone it down a bit. I then dabbed glitters from FingerPaints Santas Magic for stars. Once I was done I topped it all off with Glossy Glam topcoat. 

Over all I am really happy with how these turned out.What do you all think?

Pretty and Petite

Good morning everyone! Happy Labor Day! Here in the states Labor Day is a holiday on the first Monday in September that is supposed to celebrate the workers of America. So in theory we are all supposed to get the day off to relax, BBQ  whatever we like. But, just like all other holidays in this country, it's mostly just a day off for those of us with office jobs and a ton of extra work for people in retail because everything goes on sale on holidays here. Go 'merica.

Today I have another Pipe Dream Polish for you. I have 8 of these polishes, and I love all of them. They aren't all polishes that I will probably wear much, but the formula and color combos are just so incredible. I love them. 

Today's polish is Pretty and Petite. April describes this polish on her Etsy listing as is made up of various sized holo glitters in purple, blue, and silver in a bright barbie/bubblegum pink base. I LOVE this polish. This is one of my very favorites so far. I'm a sucker for pink, and glittery pink just kills me. There are different shapes and sizes and colors and sparkles. I just can't. It's so pretty and girly and perfect. You can see the glitter through all the layers as usual, and the pink is on point. It's a true pink, not orange or red or coral, it's PINK. :)

Here are some pictures so you can see just how great it is. It does look a little coral-ish in the pictures, but that is just my pasty skin and how it looks in pictures. Trust me, in person this is PINK PINK PINK.

This is 3 thin coats of Pretty and Petite topped with one coat of Glossy Glam.

There are so many different shapes and shades of glitter in there. (to my eye) And there are a lot of holo sparkles in it too. It's a great, girly, polish. If you love sparkles and pink, you need this in your life ASAP!
