Born Pretty Store Review: Pink Rhinestones & Wax Picker Pencil

**press sample**

Hello everyone! Today I have another Born Pretty Store review for you, of 2 things. One is a decoration one is a tool.

For this post I have Pink Rhinestones and a super handy little wax pencil. Click read more for more details, pictures, and a coupon code for 10% off!

Now I love rhinestones and studs on my manicures as much as anybody else, but they can be a pain in the rear to apply. I got really excited when I saw these pencils. They are the size of a standard pencil, they come unsharpened, and they have a wax "lead" in them. This provides just enough stickiness to pick up these babies. This is the first tool (other than a toothpick or dotting tool dipped in clear polish) that I've used for applying rhinestones and I was pleased with the results. I sharpened the pencil, what you see in the above picture was about as sharp as I could get it. It just takes a teeny bit of pressure to pic up the stones. I did find that pressing the pencil on my hand before picking up stones made them stick a little better, I guess because it warmed the wax up just a teeny bit. I suppose you could probably use a crayon and get the same result... but this is harder than crayons, and it didn't leave residue on my stones. So I was happy.

So lets see more pictures of these pink rhinestones, shall we?

For this mani I applied 2 coats of Zoya Dahlia, adding the rhinestones while the 2nd coat was still tacky. I haven't seen many manis with textured polish and rhinestones, I want to do this again in the future and see how the combo wears together. I love the look for sure!

These are the 1.5 mm rhinestones, in the listing on the Born Pretty Store website (click here) they are color option #3. I love the brightness of the color and they applied easy as pie.

To purchase these rhinestones or the pencils please click visit the Born Pretty Store Website. And be sure to use my coupon code below for 10% off your order! The shipping takes a while from them but it is worth the wait.

Thanks for reading! I have a couple more items to show you from Born Pretty. Stay tuned!
